The two halves screw together into a single compact tool. Wrap your line around the rubber-coated grips, pull, and the knot seats tight with even pressure and no line in your skin. For knots at the hook, set the hook in the built-in slot and pull against it. That's cleaner, safer, and more consistent than using your hands or pliers.

A key ring hole at the top lets you clip it to a lanyard, retractor, or keychain. It's small enough to live in your pocket and tough enough to live in your tackle box.

  • Why use a knot puller? Heavy line, especially braid and leader over 30 lb, is hard to seat by hand and can cut your skin. A puller gives you leverage and even pressure, so knots seat fully and hold.
  • How does the 2-piece design work? The halves thread together for storage and carry. Grip one in each hand, or use it as one handle, to pull the line tight.
  • What's the slot for? Set your hook in it and pull against it to cinch knots at the hook eye without holding the hook in your fingers.
  • What line does it work with? Braid, mono, and fluorocarbon. [Guessing] It's most useful on 20 lb and up and on leader connections. Confirm your tested range before you publish this.
  • Can I attach it to my gear? Yes. The key ring hole fits split rings, lanyards, and retractors.
